A sunscreen that doesn't feel like a sunscreen. Laneige's 50 ml tube slips into any bag without taking up space, and its formula — unusual for an SPF 50+ — includes 0.1% ethylated ascorbic acid to work on radiance at the same time as protection. The rest, your skin will tell you.

Texture and actives — Protection is built on a blend of chemical and physical filters: diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, homosalate, ethylhexyl salicylate and bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine on the organic side, titanium dioxide (nano) on the mineral side — broad-spectrum UVA-UVB coverage without overloading the formula. Ceramide NP strengthens the skin barrier, panthenol soothes, and xanthan gum combined with polyacrylate crosspolymer-6 gives the texture that melting, stay-put feel that never settles into fine lines. Hydrogenated lecithin acts as a gentle emulsifier, keeping the formula light on application.

In your routine — Last step of the morning, after your moisturiser, before any colour if you wear it. A pea-sized amount is enough for the face — cetearyl alcohol and diisopropyl sebacate melt quickly with the warmth of your fingers, leaving no white cast or greasy residue. Reapply every two hours during extended sun exposure. The 50 ml bottle covers around six to eight weeks of daily use.
