Texture and actives — Each pad is soaked in an ultra-light, water-like solution that sinks in without leaving a film or residue. Houttuynia cordata extract (77%) is the heart of the formula: it soothes and rehydrates reactive skin. Madecassoside, asiaticoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid — four active fractions from centella asiatica, each listed separately in the INCI — round out the formula by working on skin comfort. Sugar elm root extract (listed as "David's elm root extract" on the supplier sheet) targets excess sebum and uneven skin texture. Gluconolactone, a gentle polyhydroxy acid, helps smooth the surface without harsh friction. The pad itself is double-sided: one textured side to exfoliate, one smooth side to even things out — two steps, one disc.

How to use — After cleansing, on slightly damp skin: hold a pad between two fingers, textured side against the skin, and sweep gently across the face following the natural texture of the skin — cheeks, forehead, chin — avoiding the eye and lip area. A second pass with the smooth side evens the skin and deposits the rest of the formula. The box closes tightly after use so the remaining 70 pads don't dry out between uses.
